Patch Harvey
CoxwainA fisherman since leaving school in 1986, Patch joined the crew in 1993 became helmsman of the atlantic 75 in 2001 and deputy 2nd cox of the ALB in 2001, 2004 became the fulltime mechanic then on the 1st october 2008 became Coxswain.

Tony Rendle
MechanicTony is ex Royal Navy, he joined the crew a few years back and moved away to Dartmouth where he became a member of their lifeboat. Tony returned in 2014 to Penlee as the fulltime Mechanic.

Ben Keogh
Emergency Coxswain & Senior ILB HelmBen an ex fisherman now a plumber, he joined the crew in 2004 progressed to helmsman and emergency coxswain.

Jack Shannon
Emergency CoxswainJack Shannon is a Master Mariner and Coxwain at RNLI Penlee and Sennen

Neville Pitman
Emergency CoxswainNev joined Penlee in 2015 having spent 5 years in the paras before becoming a crab fisherman, and then moving on to start a local shellfish company.

Will Treneer
ILB HelmJoined in 2006. Alb Crew and ILB helm. Fisherman from Newlyn.

Richard Nicholls
Emergency MechanicRichard ‘Nabo’ joined the Penlee crew in 1987. He served 10 years on the North Sea Rig Supply ships in the Merchant Navy and now works for with the IOS Steamship Company. He also comes from an RNLI family as his father, Leslie ‘Nabo’ Nicholls, was a crew member onboard the Penlee lifeboats in the 1970’s and 1980’s

Craig Neal
Emergency MechanicCraig joined the army after leaving school is now a police officer, he joined the crew in 2004

Sam Kent
Navigator & CrewSam Joined the crew in 2013 and is a teacher at Mounts Bay Academy. He is also a sailing instructor.

Mike Isles
CrewMike is a local boatbuilder and fisherman and joined the Penlee crew in ****

Jason Ward
CrewJason Ward joined the crew in 2015. Having spent 20 years as a plumbing and heating engineer he moved to Newlyn in 2013 to pastor a local church

CrewStuart is a lorry driver who volunteers for both ALB and ILB shouts

Kenny Downing
Emergency Coxswain & MechanicKenny an ex fishing skipper is now 1st mate on a fisheries survey vessel. Kenny has recently become Penlee Lifeboat’s latest relief coxswain.

Marcel Le Breton
2nd MechanicMarcel Joined Penlee in 2015. He was in the Army between 2001 till 2013

James Roberts
ILB HelmJames is a full time fisherman working out of Newlyn. He joined the crew in 2010

Tom Ritchie
Emergency MechanicTom is from Scotland and he is a mechanic on the Oil Rigs in the North Sea. He joined Penlee in March 2016.

Andrew Wood
ILB HelmAndrew Joined the crew in 2016 and is a sailmaker based in Newlyn. He also worked as a yacht delivery skipper for 10 years.

Dan Sell
Navigator and CrewDan Sell is a local builder and regular volunteer on both ALB and ILB shouts.

Andrew Stevens
CrewAndrew is a local fisherman who has volunteered on the ALB for many years

Adrian Bick
CrewAdrian is an ex pro rugby player and Phys Ed teacher. He is also our crew representative.

Amy Smith
CrewAmy works for a local rigging company and is on the ILB helm plan as well as the ALB mechanics plan

Tom Matson
CrewTom was a crew member and Helmsman at Lyme Regis and Brighton, moved to Newlyn in 2008 and joined in September. Tom is crew on both the ALB and ILB.

Elaine Bawden
Lifeboat Press OfficerElaine Bawden is the volunteer Lifeboat Press Officer at RNLI Penlee – she has been in post since 2015. Elaine is a retired police officer who has strong connections with our station and the local area. She was born and brought up in Mousehole and her father, Nim Bawden, served on the Solomon Browne lifeboat for 17 years. Elaine is passionate about preserving the history of our station.

Roy Pascoe
Boathouse MannagerRoy served on the Solomon Browne and the Mabel Alice. After Roy retired from the Crew he became a Shore crew volunteer, DLA and is currently the Boathouse Manager. Roy looks after the crew accommodation building in Newlyn and also the old station at Penlee point, tending to the memorial garden and ensuring that the station is kept clean and tidy.
In 2015 Roy was honoured by the Queen for his services to the RNLI, and in particular Penlee, with a BEM (Member of the British Empire Medal).
